§ 10.68.060. Time limit for use

  • It is unlawful for any person to cause, allow, permit, or suffer any vehicle registered in his name or operated or controlled by him to be upon any street, within a parking meter zone in any space adjacent to which a parking meter is installed, for more than the number of consecutive minutes designated by the sign on the parking meter, or any time during which the meter is showing a signal indicating that such space is illegally in use—other than the time as is necessary to operate the meter to show legal parking—between the hours eight thirty a.m. and five thirty p.m. of any day, except Saturday, when the hours shall be between the hours of eight-thirty a.m. and nine-thirty p.m., Sundays and legal holidays excepted.
